New College Mascot: From Indians to Wolves

Alright, so since the stone age my State University has been the ASU Indians. Ok so not since the stone age but since like forever. This year the Indians have retired and we are now the Red Wolves.

Our Old Identity was as such:

Our new identity looks as such:

I can handle being the Red Wolves. I love Wolves after all. But come on, who drew the wolf? It looks more like a Fox than a Wolf. And, what is the deal with the white lines coming out of it's eyes? Maybe in another 50 years they will decide to redraw the wolf to look like an actual Wolf.

I do have to admit, it does look a lot better than the old sigil.

This is my rant for the day.

Of course they changed it, injuns aren't politically correct anymore, call yourselves anything like indians, redskins, or whatever and they get their loincloths all up in a wad.

The wolf does like a bit sketchy, maybe is was cutting up onions before the graphic was made and it's crying or something.

Hmm I agree it does look like he's crying. The anime style of overexagerated crying with streams of water comming from the edges of the eyes.
Maybe he doesn't like how he's drawn either *L*.
