Hunger Subsided
The blade's hunger did not get quenched. It went hungry for one more night. It wanted so bad to feed but the flesh refused to give of its self. The flesh won this battle against the cold hard steel. Soft tender flesh, smooth as silk, was stronger than the steel, stronger than the sharpness of the blade. It has overcome this night. And for that I am grateful.
